Job Description: Workforce Planning and Employment Strategies (WPES) is a Community of Expertise in part of an overall partnership model created to provide superior strategic cross-functional advice, analysis, support, decision making and resolution on a range of WPES related matters. WPES issues and programming are complex and constantly changing as a result of changes to provincial CBAs, re-alignment of services and client care groups, the changing landscape of work such as demographics, increasing retirements, and changing needs of clients. The Associate must have sound knowledge of the various types of health care careers in order to effectively coordinate and plan programming and events and understand client needs. The Associate works in close collaboration with the Specialists on the team to provide support for daily WPES issues that arise but also to assist with recruitment and retention programming and events. This Associate will have accountabilities aligned with Contract Staffing.

  • Business Administration certificate
  • Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)
  • Business diploma
  • Human Resources diploma
  • Human Resources certificate

Other Education and Training

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
