Job Description: Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources Central the HR Business Associate provides leadership and strategic support to the health region on a broad range of Human Resource functions including Employment, Labour Relations Work Place Reorganization, Statistical reporting, HRIS administration, LEAN initiatives and training for management, staff and other external stakeholders on all electronic systems and processes. The incumbent assists with the development of policies and procedures, perform research of best practice, develop training materials, provide technical advice on internal business applications such as the HR Portal and Gateway, and lead and participate in special projects. This work is performed while managing multiple priorities in a complex environment through the use of strategic planning, project management and continuous relationship management.

Experience

  • 1+ years experience in Human Resources

Education

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in business
  • Human Resources diploma
  • Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
