馃寪As a Sales Director for Eastern Canada at DGF, you'll connect people and businesses through products and services you can be proud of. You'll be supported by a global team of professionals with diverse experience, but also have the freedom to work independently.馃挭 Responsible for the growth of freight of all kind by winning, retaining, developing, planning, and managing Eastern Canada Business. You will Gather up-to-date customer and market information and keeps the product and trade lane informed of current conditions. Lead a dedicated team of experienced salespeople with the motivation of driving higher revenue and volumes. Motivate the team to generate leads, build client relationships, build customer solutions, and measure performance on a regular basis in order to ensure hitting or exceeding forecasts, and ultimately ensuring that customer needs are met. 馃殌馃幆
IN THIS JOB YOU WILL:
路 Lead, coach and develop the local sales team
路 Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our growth
路 Builds long-term profitable relationships with customers
路 Continuously researches the market for trends in business/competition
路 Proactively identifies opportunities to develop new business
路 Supports sales team in important customer interactions
路 Maintains detailed, accurate, and meaningful records
路 Setting weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals with the team identifying improvement needs, and celebrating successes
路 Promotes and coordinates the Company's services
路 Liaises with operations, and product teams, and builds strong relationships with all stakeholders
路 Liaises and communicates with other divisions to exchange market and sales information
路 Assists in preparing the sales functions budget, implements it, and monitors performance based on established KPIs
路 Assists in leading trade management bilateral meetings with specific focus countries
路 Self-motivated to drive company sales strategies and motivate/coach team in the achievement of these strategies through planned activities that are monitored regularly
路 Supports the driving and negotiation of RFI/RFQ processes
YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
路 5 years of experience in sales management
路 Bilingual, fluent in French and English
路 Good understanding of market conditions and opportunities in the forwarding industry ( air, ocean, customs, warehousing, distribution)
路 Results and Respect focused
路 Experience with the different sales channels and strategic selling from a buyers' perspective
路 Strong leadership attitudes, effective communication, writing, active listening and presentation skills
路 Able to establish sales plans and processes with a process improvement background
路 High degree of self-confidence, initiative, and commitment
路 Well-developed management skills and, collaborative leadership style to steer senior sales team
路 Ability to identify customer needs by gathering information and building long-term relationships
路 Conceptual thinking and analytical skills
路 Flexible and open to change and adapt to a changing environment
路 Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback
路 Ability to challenge and inspire growth
路 PC literate, excellent organizational skills
