Join Alstom in this career-defining role as an OT / ICS Cybersecurity Bid Manager based in Saint-Bruno, Canada.

Your objective in this role is to organize and manage ;activities for cybersucity scope in Tenders/Bids. You will do this by working with a global team of engineers and project managers; in a diverse and inclusive environment, helping to solve business issues.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Build the planning of the offer integrating all cybersecurity activities and deliverables (launch meeting, Cyber Technical Design Reviews(TDR)) to build a complete Cyber Quality Cost Delivery (QCD) for cybersecurity.
  • The scope covers both tenders integrated in overall Alstom offers and standalone cybersecurity offers
  • Carry out the costing of cyber activities to be executed during project execution to meet the customer requirements/expectations

  • Ensure that the cybersecurity deliverables (Cyber TDR, Clause by Clause compliance, technical documentation for the client, Cyber QCD) are developed on time and with the right level of quality, leveraging on the existing cybersecurity department resources.

  • Prepare Technical requirements specifications to be exported to suppliers and review suppliers feedback and compliance.

  • Build and update the costing proposal in the tender costing tool

  • Prepare quick costing during pre-tendering phase, based on product cost database and ROE from project executio

  • Lead cost estimation activities based on target cost approach with all participating units and métiers

  • Lead cost improvement actions to reach tender cost /target price using all competitiveness levers, and challenge the contributors

  • Prepare the Costing package for TRM (Tender Review Meeting) (cost analysis/bridges, standard report, cash curve, etc), and support the tender leader on the preparation of the pricing sheet for the customer

  • Diagnose needs - Anticipate, identify and frame up customer needs and position Alstom cybersecurity services to meet these needs and solve our customers cybersecurity challenges.
  • Technical proposals - Be hands on to draft strategic, practical and competitive proposals that clearly differentiate Alstom from others.

Education required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information Security/Cybersecurity
  • Cybersecurity certifications preferred

Experience required:

  • 5+ years of experience related to Cybersecurity in general and cybersecurity consulting experience for industrial companies like Rail,Automotive,Aviation,Hydro and Power
  • Experience working on Industrial Control Systems
  • Proven business development skills to identify, scope, price, and close opportunities
  • Experience to respond to cybersecurity RFPs and draft compelling technical and commercial proposals
  • Experience working with engineering teams.
  • Experience reporting and communicating critical information to stakeholders.

Competencies & Skills required:

  • Good understanding of industrial cybersecurity system architecture and principles.
  • Knowledge of main Cybersecurity standards and regulations, such as ISO 2700X, NIST and IEC 62443.
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity solutions and areas for industrial sector.
  • Strong consulting acumen and have led teams to effectively deliver cybersecurity services
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Good writing skills for drafting detailed and effective technical proposals.
  • Architecture concepts and techniques of systems and networks, operating systems, and associated programming languages.
  • Knowledge of the main techniques for evaluating systems security.
