About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team, specializing in the offset broker sector.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving sales growth, negotiating contracts, and managing customer profit and loss (P&L). The successful candidate will work closely with account managers to build and maintain strong relationships with key buyers while contributing to the overall sales strategy and performance targets.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee customer P&L statements, ensuring profitability and effective cost management;
  • Develop and manage trade programs that enhance customer relationships and drive sales growth;
  • Negotiate customer contracts, ensuring favorable terms that benefit both the company and the client while adhering to corporate policies;
  • Create and implement targeted sales strategies to grow market share within the offset broker segment;
  • Identify opportunities for product penetration and upselling to existing customers;
  • Work hand-in-hand with Account Managers to drive sales initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business goals;
  • Partner with account sales managers to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and client onboarding;
  • Establish clear sales targets and objectives for the sales team, monitoring progress regularly;
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to ensure targets are met or exceeded;
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key buyers in the Canadian market, focusing on long-term partnership development;
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer insights to senior management;
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales targets for the B2B division;
  • Conduct regular reviews of sales performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve goals;

  • Utilize CRM tools and other resources to track interactions and maintain detailed customer records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; BCom preferred;
  • 5+ years of experience working in corporate sales, B2B sales, or wholesale sales in the food, beverage, or fashion industries;
  • Proven track record of managing customer P&L and achieving sales targets;
  • Strong experience working with large accounts and wholesale chains, such as Costco and Loblaws;
  • Strong understanding of the tea industry, wholesale distribution, or related markets is a plus;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office;
  • Limited travel required.
