M1 provides speciality products and services to the commercial and defense aerospace sectors including: engineering, certification (STCs & PMA parts), manufacturing, repair, and NDT (LPI, Eddy current, ultrasonic, thermography, ELCH, borescope). Purpose

The Customer Account Manager is the principal point of contact for the customer, oversees the contractual obligations and manages customer satisfaction. The role comes with a lot of exposure in the company and deals directly with the customers.

Objectives:

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction,
  • Lead ad hoc projects for new or existing clients.

Main responsibilities

Aerospace Technical Sales Representative:

  • Build lasting and trusting relationships with our customers through open and interactive communication,
  • Identify and assess customer needs and respond effectively to their requests to maintain a high level of satisfaction, build lasting relationships and manage customer satisfaction,
  • Communicate with customers, provide appropriate solutions in a timely manner, and follow up to ensure problem resolution,
  • Manage and fulfill contractual obligations,
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers and ensure service excellence,
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information using appropriate methods/tools,
  • Work closely with internal teams to enhance the overall customer experience,
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs),
  • Identify new business opportunities with existing customers,
  • Develop and improve processes,
  • Conduct quarterly reviews with clients.

Your ideal background:

  • University degree or college diploma in aviation, business administration, or other related field, or equivalent experience,
  • 3-5 years of aviation and maintenance (MRO) experience,
  • Knowledge of composites and aerostructures
  • Knowledge of structural repair manuals (SRM) and component maintenance manuals (CMM) on composite and/or sheet metal structure (an asset);
  • Ability to multitask and work with limited supervision,
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment,
  • Customer service oriented,
  • Excellent knowledge of ERP and MS Office Suite,
  • Bilingual French and English.
