About the role

We are looking for an Account Executive who is responsible, motivated and energetic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for market acquisition, development and maintenance in Quebec and Ontario. You will be responsible for prospecting for new business in the region, as well as managing and maintaining the customer base. As an Account Executive, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction, achieve revenue targets and drive growth in the region.

As Secure Exchanges grows, the Account Executive may be asked to assist with growth by developing new territories such as: the rest of Canada, New York, California, Florida or Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively prospect, identify, qualify and develop a sales pipeline using a variety of methods such as cold calling, email outreach and networking in our targeted accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and prospects in the territory, resulting in growth opportunities.
  • Manage and develop existing accounts, identify and close up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, customer success and product to ensure customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the company CRM system.
  • Participate in our training, leadership and development programs.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of cybersecurity technology.
  • A track record of outperforming and meeting sales targets.
  • Ability to train business champions and execute a sales process.
  • Experience in SaaS volume sales is a major asset.
  • Previous training in sales methodology (e.g. MEDDICC, Challenger Sales, Sandler, etc.) is an asset.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity technology is a plus.
  • Responsible: Committed to bold goals, works hard and smart to achieve them.
  • Motivated and competitive: Possess a strong desire to succeed.
  • Ability to learn quickly and establish credibility. High EQ and self-awareness.
  • Bilingual: French and English (Discussions with prospects in Ontario, Quebec and elsewhere).
  • Must reside in Quebec

Salary

50000 to 60000$ per year depending on experience + possible bonus.
