Role Summary:

As the Business Manager for Growth and Portfolio Accounts, you will play a key role in managing vital accounts aligned with NDI’s strategic goals. You will identify and lead North American sales opportunities, working to achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and account management, deep market insight, and the ability to manage complex accounts effectively.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Lead the entire sales process within named accounts ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Navigate complex accounts across multiple business units and geographies, managing both existing and new opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of assigned accounts, identifying their needs and the problems they aim to solve.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Regularly assess performance against department and individual goals and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Integrate sales skills and processes into daily activities.
  • Build trusting relationships to facilitate the sharing of key information, such as OEM product roadmaps.
  • Stay informed about market trends and key industry developments to ensure alignment with NDI product roadmaps.
  • Provide strategic leadership by developing and executing comprehensive OEM account plans.
  • Align OEM account plans with NDI’s overall business objectives, including both existing business and new opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of NDI’s products to effectively communicate value propositions to assigned accounts.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage and track sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System.
  • Travel outside of Canada for OEM visits, conferences etc.

Education and Professional Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years sales experience is required (medical device sales preferred).
  • Familiarity with medical device regulations/requirements.
  • Proven ability to build relationships across all organizational levels, with skills in influencing, negotiating, and securing commitment.
  • Strong sales skills, including self-motivation, excellent written and interpersonal communication, and the ability to plan, organize, close, and deliver results.
  • A strong customer focus with desire to learn all aspects of the business.
  • Experience with MS Office, CRM and ERP tools.
