Overview
Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Investment Sales, the Vice President of Institutional Sales is responsible for the professional development and management of all Canada-wide institutional sales related activities and relations for Centurion Asset Management Inc.
The Vice President of Institutional Sales is accountable for the sale of Centurion's group of funds to Institutional investors within Canada, including family offices, endowments, foundations and pension funds.
Relationship Development
Develop and foster positive relationships with key stakeholders to expand Centurion's product distribution throughout the institutional channel. Provide contact follow-up for institutional events. Manage relationships with current institutional clients, ensuring a differentiated level of service from our competitors.
Client Relations
Support existing institutional client base, professionally handling inquiries and requests to ensure that a high level of client satisfaction is achieved though consistent attention to Centurion's Vision, Mission and Values.
Lead Generation
Generate new institutional leads through proactive calls and email campaigns targeted at prospective clients, providing interested parties with information and materials as requested. Identify and host trade shows, seminars, meetings, presentations, branch visits and conference calls with the goal of attracting new institutional capital. Execute additional strategies geared to attract strategic institutional clients.
Marketing and Administration
Work closely with our marketing team to develop effective marketing strategies and campaigns to target the institutional market. Provide regular client and market feedback to the marketing team on the performance of existing campaigns and marketing materials. Draft and distribute newsletters for distribution to institutional clients. Ensure that clients are provided with accurate information and current marketing materials at all times. Organize and update the leads database as well as existing client records.
Industry and Product Knowledge
Gather industry knowledge, observing the development of industry competitors and maintaining a constant awareness of the competitive environment for similar products. Review the performance of competitors, reporting on key issues and opportunities as necessary. Work closely with, the Chief Financial Officer | Chief Compliance Officer and our President | Chief Executive Officer to create products for the institutional market, assisting with the amendment of existing retail products as required.
Compliance
Adhere to compliance procedures and regulatory requirements at all times, ensuring that materials are reviewed and approved by the Chief Compliance Officer prior to distribution to external parties.
