As an organization, Amazon's CA Selling Partner Recruitment and Development Organization is in a unique position to be highly influential; driving dialog and nurturing opportunities with Amazon Customers, Amazon Category teams, and Amazon Sellers. As a result of strong business growth, we are looking for a Sales Leader to help us lead a business development sales team of Sales Account Representatives focused on recruiting and growing new Amazon Sellers into the Amazon Canada Marketplace. This leader will work cross-functionally with the Canada Category Teams as well as Product teams across Amazon's 3P business, to ensure that critical feed-back is provided to continue to influence product road-maps. This role is for a passionate sales leader and category advocate within Amazon, with proven sales acumen, pipeline management skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task. In summary this leader will focus on further building, developing and managing the Canada sales team that works across a pipeline of the highest-potential Sellers by executing sales strategies that will exceed revenue, selection and discoverability goals achieved both by driving sales and working cross-functionally with product, marketing and finance teams.

Roles & Responsibilities: Leadership:
- Manage and develop a world class team of Strategic Sales Reps focused on delivering high-impact results. Hire top talent, develop the team, and create career paths within the broader sales organization.
- Serve as primary interface with internal teams including Product Managers, Category Management, Finance, and Account Management teams to align programs and initiatives to drive growth in the Canadian Marketplace
- Implement sales strategies and best practices while developing SOPs for business development.
- Establish partnerships with internal teams to manage joint selling opportunities.
- Modeling, and forecasting business metrics for the purpose of making strategic decisions to grow key Seller accounts.
Management:
- Identify key business opportunities for the territory and manage toward a growth plan.
- Develop weekly metrics to track critical inputs and outputs and report out in weekly business reviews and regular flash reports to senior management.
- Analyze territory trends, diagnose root cause of performance and create actionable plans for operational improvements.
- Conduct deep dive analysis on issues affecting the Sellers performance and provide the Voice of the Seller as an input into product development and process improvement for product teams.

Key job responsibilities
As a key leader on the Canada New Seller Recruitment (NSR) team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Canada (NSR) operation, leading a team Account Representatives based in our Toronto office. You will collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to ensure the success of Canadian Sellers expanding to Amazon.CA, focusing on sales excellence including demand generation, lead prioritization, pipeline management and post launch success. Your ability to extract insights from working with a diverse group of sellers including brand owners and resellers and teams will be crucial in refining our program and product roadmap, driving continuous improvements in seller recruitment and domestic expansion. Beyond short-term execution, you will be expected to think and act as a business owner, leveraging data and insights to develop scalable, long-term solutions in partnership with program and product teams. Success in this role extends beyond delivering results—it requires investing in your team's development while also identifying and proposing the next future scaling initiatives in growing the Canadian business.

A day in the life
Reporting directly to the head of Canada new seller recruitment, you will lead the Canada Domestic Direct Sales team in recruiting sellers and driving sales growth in the CA marketplace. Your day will involve developing and executing sales strategies and operation, hiring and coaching a growing team, and collaborating with North American, sales, product, and program leaders. You will deep dive into data to identify trends, optimize pipeline management, and build long-term growth initiatives. A results-driven mindset, leadership in developing top talent, and a data-backed approach to decision-making are essential to scaling Canadian seller success.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree or above. 10+ years relevant experience in the sales, retail, e-commerce or consultancy, with a proven track record of constantly delivering great results. More than 5 years of people management experience. Strong analytical skills and ability to independently deal with relevant tools (Excel, other internal tools). Ability of managing complex projects and working with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Customer-obsessed and learn fast; think big while able to dive deep with execution excellence.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Fluent in French (French preferred however not mandate) and English
MBA preferred. Experience in outbound sales, demand generation, pipeline management, launch funnel optimization and problem solving. Experience with e-commerce, retail and international. Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
