JOB DESCRIPTION:

As our Regional Marketing Coordinator, you'll be the driving force behind our marketing activities in one or more of the regions where JAM Sports operates. We're looking for someone who brings insight to their creativity and has the skills to make their great ideas happen! Your main mission? To grow our brand and meet revenue goals through digital and local marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and Execute Campaigns: manage regional marketing activities that connect with existing and prospective players and promote our sports leagues and tournaments
  • Optimize for Performance: track, analyze and draw on those insights to improve the work
  • Local Marketing: develop activities to drive awareness for the JAM Sports brand and connect with the local community of existing and prospective players
  • Know your Audience: understand the player and regional insights and connect this to your work
  • Collaborate for Growth: work collaboratively with the regional teams to identify, innovate and experiment with activities designed to grow the region

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or relevant field, or equivalent marketing skills earned on the job
  • 2-3 years of proven digital marketing experience across social media, search and retargeting platforms. You have the technical skills to set up digital advertising campaigns across various platforms including Meta, TikTok and Google.
  • Email marketing experience. You've managed campaigns from start to finish including copywriting, design, layout and A/B testing in platforms like Mailchimp or similar.
  • Local marketing and/or influencer marketing experience. You know how to create specific audience campaigns using influencer or local marketing tactics to drive brand and revenue results
  • Analytics and reporting skills. You are comfortable with platforms like Google Anyaltics, Meta campaign reporting, TikTok campaign reporting, and email platform analytics and can interpret the data to improve performance.
  • Copywriting and Design experience. We develop most of our marketing content in-house. You are comfortable designing in Canva and are able to craft engaging copy in our brand voice.
  • Organized and resourceful
  • Outgoing and personable

EXPECTED HOURS

  • This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week
  • Most of your time will be spent working 9 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday
  • JAM operates a hybrid work environment. Some days are remote, some are in-person - either at the office or at leagues
  • You should expect to be in-person 2 days/week. The JAM office is located at Mt. Pleasant / Yonge Street in midtown Toronto

COMPENSATION

  • $46,000 - $55,000 CAD annual salary, commensurate with experience
  • 10 Vacation Days and 10 Personal Days to start
  • Eligible for full benefits after 3 months
  • RRSP matching program
  • Friday afternoon "Go Play Days" during the summer months (our version 1/2-day summer Fridays)
  • Complimentary league play (we practice what we preach)
