We are looking for a Project Manager, to join the Information Technology team at BrokerLink and work in one of our GTA offices, on a Permanent FT Basis.

Reporting to the PMO Manager and working within the process defined within the PMO Playbook and Governance. The Project Manager works closely with the Business and IT Stakeholders to take the agreed upon strategy and create project objectives and goals, define technical and operational scope, and plan how and when the solution will be delivered.

What the Role Entails:

  • Full project management responsibility for the implementation of a variety of projects
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with business users and stakeholders
  • Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements
  • Set and manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
  • Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Organize and lead the team, create an environment where project management standards are followed and status of work in progress, issues, decisions and resourcing is well understood
  • Be the primary point of escalation for any topics related to the dedicated workstream. Drive resolution of any conflicts and escalate as needed to avoid roadblocks
  • Work with a dedicated team and manage resource assignment scheduling across the project
  • Coaching & Leadership skills

The Successful candidate will have:

To be a successful candidate, you will need to have demonstrated experience in establishing and delivering complex projects through disciplined project management processes and close collaboration with colleagues throughout the organization. Proactively track and monitor key performance indicators to ensure project objectives are met throughout the project. Provide clear and consistent communication of project status within IT and with business partners.

  • 5 - 8 years direct experience working in a project management environment
  • Successful history of managing projects, with demonstrable experience in setting and managing stakeholder expectations
  • PMP Certification (Strong Asset)
  • Experience with Smartsheet (Strong Asset)
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Knowledge of enterprise project management information systems
  • Hands-on project management, must be able to execute the entire project lifecycle from concept to deployment
  • Experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products
  • High degree of professionalism, with demonstrated ability to live our values
  • Strong ability to plan, organize and prioritize workload for self and others
