We are looking for a Project Manager, Acquisitions to join BrokerLink in one of our offices in Alberta, Ontario, or Atlantic region on a permanent full-time basis.

We are a team of IT professionals working to bring the highest level of service and creative, prompt solutions to our colleagues.

BrokerLink acquires a high volume of unique offices on an annual basis. Much attention goes into supporting our newly acquired offices and employees through the transition to ensure it is as smooth as possible for all parties. The Project Manager in Acquisitions has a hand in all end-to-end integration of employees, processes, operations, local network, telephony, data, office consolidations and moves and overall business.

What the Role Entails:

  • Manage projects within the business acquisition program space focusing on end-to-end user onboarding and system integration tasks for all contributing departments.
  • Execute on an established integration pattern, manage exceptions and issues to conclusion; set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Define project scope and deliver technology integration in collaboration with management, internal teams, and stakeholders plus key vendors.
  • Organize and lead the team, create an environment where project management standards are followed and status of work in progress, issues, decisions, and resourcing is well understood.
  • Be the primary point of escalation for any topics related to the dedicated workstream. Drive resolution of any conflicts and escalate as needed to avoid roadblocks.
  • Work with a dedicated team and manage resource assignment scheduling across multiple projects within the program.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Effective and consistent time management, stay organized and pay attention to details.

The Successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in IT Project Management delivery, including presenting to management
  • PMP Certification
  • Strong ability to develop and manage relationships with stakeholders, team members, technical vendors.
  • Excellent communication skills (written/verbal)
  • Navigates effectively and thrives working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in mergers & acquisitions projects is an asset.
