Our TELUS Small Medium Business (SMB) team supports the fastest and largest growing business segment in the industry. We are a dynamic and passionate sales engine that works diligently with Small Business owners to build solutions tailored to their needs. We are looking for you to join us as a Manager - Area Sales, to support a team of engaged and energetic Account Managers. This is an exciting and rewarding people leadership role, encompassing complete ownership of sales targets that are achieved through solid recruiting, coaching, development, and activity management. In this role, you will support the delivery of results and will be supported by a variety of highly engaged teams within the SMB team serving customers with 30-100 employees to help you and your team to achieve this goal.

Your Role:
As the Manager - Area Sales, you will lead a team of 8 Account Managers who are responsible for prospecting net new customers as well as growing a base of existing customers within a defined patch of accounts. Your mission is to recruit, coach, enable, and performance manage these reps to exceed their targets. You will also work cross-functionally to ensure collaboration with teams responsible for products such as Fully Managed IT Services.
