We are looking for an IT User Support to join BrokerLink and work out of one of our offices in Alberta, Ontario, or Atlantic on a Secondment.

Desktop support technicians perform various functions to keep the daily operation of end user devices and software functionality in top working state.

What you will be doing:

  • Process all employee change tickets, including on boarding, off boarding and job changes requests
  • Create and monitor access request based on RBAC role and location profiles
  • Provide portal access for applicable RBAC profiles
  • Work with other IT teams and business as a SME and update RBAC roles and locations.
  • Maintain outstanding verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate seamlessly with technical and non-technical levels in the organization.
  • Maintain an excellent level of customer service, ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in appropriate manner

  • Auditing current accesses to make sure with a line to RBAC
  • Accurately record, update, and document requests using the IT service desk system, and any other duties as assigned by the company.
  • Provide access for acquisitions on boarding
  • Support the continuous improvement of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices with the establishment and execution of key governance rules and policies including, but not limited to, access certifications, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and accounts clean-up for new hires and acquisitions.
  • Contribute to the identity management domain by implementing integrations to systems to automate accesses and accounts lifecycle management.
  • Act as an IAM subject matter expert for Privileged access management.

What you bring to the table

  • Previous experience working in an IT support role, preferably three + years' experience in user access.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Working knowledge of Azure (endpoint and Intune)
  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge of troubleshooting computer related issues both hardware and software, as well as desktop, laptop, and mobile devices
  • Knowledge of Microsoft system 365 and Azures
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
