Key job responsibilities
A successful Senior Enterprise Sales Representative will have the exciting opportunity to drive growth and shape the competitive future of enterprises and help influence innovation within their industry of expertise. Their mandate will include driving revenue growth, facilitating customer cloud adoption, enabling business transformation and increasing market penetration for AWS. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales/ business development skills and knowledge on identifying and aligning client's business outcomes to adequate cloud or partner solutions.
The Senior Enterprise Sales Representative must be at ease in engaging with CxO level as well as with business operations stakeholders, IT leaders and client innovation teams. They should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a series of named accounts or a territory coverage plan and consistently delivers on quarterly revenue targets. Experience in establishing an large enterprise account strategy and guiding & influencing internal teams through informal leadership is a must. This includes demonstrating a priority of supporting diverse, equitable and inclusive teams and perspectives to foster fresh ideas and authenticity. The candidate will also understand and embrace the AWS culture through the Leadership Principles and demonstrate he/she can be an active contributor to those principles.
1. Driving AWS Market share
- Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical;
- Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets;
- Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Work with the AWS partner ecosystem to extend reach and drive adoption
- Manage Internal teams, AWS investments requests and contract negotiations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 8+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals for direct sales, or business development in software, cloud, SaaS selling to C-suite and sophisticated buyers.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to seamlessly coordinate multiple stakeholders and influence stakeholders to better and faster execute large IT and Infrastructure projects from start to finish.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, skilled in presenting, negotiating, and building long-term relationships with customers.
- Proficient in using sales methodologies and manage a very large revenue sales pipeline, including proper planning and associated detailed activities to drive faster delivery of solutions, with the ability to leverage data and analytics to drive additional client benefits and business outcomes.
- Demonstrated success in driving and managing complex, multi-faceted sales cycles, navigating through various decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic sales plans, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Highly adaptable and flexible, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and respond quickly to changing market conditions, with the ability to act with a good percentage of ambiguity.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, able to identify and resolve complex issues, and provide data-driven solutions.
- Demonstrated expertise aligned to industry (e.g. manufacturing, retail/wholesale, Aviation) or a related field, with a deep understanding of the market, customer needs, and industry trends.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, personable with the ability to mentor and develop junior sales professionals.
- Experience in Project management or Strong Project management skills with the ability to help plan, build, and coordinate the execution of complex technical projects with multiple vendors and stakeholders keeping customer interest in focus for everyone.
