We are looking for a Director - Partnerships and Key Accounts with proven experience in the payments industry to join our growing team. The Director - Partnerships and Key Accounts is responsible for revenue generation, optimization and retention (75%) and senior management participation (25%) in OTT Pay's merchant acquiring business. This is a full-time permanent position working 100% onsite at our 1123 Leslie St Office.

How you will contribute:

· Upgrade and upskill business development & account management organization.

· Build, develop, and manage key account management team capable of achieving the business targets defined by the employer.

· Develop and execute exhaustive key account strategy plan.

· Develop and retain relationships for OTT Pay for the acceptance of:

o WeChat Pay, Alipay, China Union Pay (QR Code)

o Credit Card and Debit Card; and

o Other methods of payments that are provided by OTT Pay.

· Leverage existing traditional revenue generating channels utilizing existing POS and virtual POS solutions:

o WeChat Pay, Alipay, China Union Pay (QR Code)

o Payment processor revenue sharing partnerships

o POS solutions

· Secure and optimize existing Tier 1 strategic partnerships by leveraging sophisticated CRM techniques

o Marketing

o Processors / Acquirers / ISO's

· Serve as a senior management point of escalation for matters relating to processors, key suppliers, and retention in key account business.

· Participate in senior management meetings to reinforce the existing key accounts, partners and integrate all requirements cross-functionally.

· Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to ensure sustainable growth.

· Actively participate in contract negotiations and closing deals with key target clients/processors.

· Transfer of payment industry knowledge and best practice sharing across all core lines of business within the corporation.

· Explore opportunities to improve internal process, procedures and services to address existing and new key accounts' and partners' needs and interests.

· Leverage data and Management Information System (MIS) to make informed decisions and maximize revenue generating portfolio performance.

· Socialize industry competitive intelligence and best practices in support of management's efforts to evolve the overall corporate operating model and team strength.

· Develop account plan for key accounts.

· Perform other duties as required.

What you bring to the table:

· 7- 10 years' experience in senior leadership roles in partnerships, business development, or key account management within merchant acquisition or payment solutions within the North American market; experience in a Fintech startup is an asset.

· In-depth knowledge of payment sales, including processing solutions, pricing models, and industry regulations.

· Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both customers and strategic partners.

· Strong skills in market analysis, sales planning, and data analysis, with a track record of identifying growth opportunities and executing successful strategies.

· Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders through excellent communication.

· Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

· Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments while working under pressure with a positive, self-driven approach.

· Proficient in office software and sales management tools.

· Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; fluency in French is an asset.

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required; an MBA is preferred.

This is an onsite position and the successful candidate will be required to report to the office Mon-Fri from 9:00am to 5:30pm.
