What You'll Do

The Associate Manager, Brand Development at Triangle Retail Media (TRM), will be responsible for managing brand and marketing programs and opportunities between TRM and Canadian Tire Retail (CTR). You will serve as the liaison between TRM and CTR’s cross functional teams including marketing, ecommerce and more. TRM is CTC’s rapidly scaling Retail Media Network Business that develops digital marketing solutions for vendors and brands. Growing this business over the next five years is a top strategic priority for CTC. As a member of the TRM team, you will work alongside groups of industry experts in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

  • Work closely with CTR’s cross functional marketing teams to identify and communicate marketing plans that support TRM goals

  • Facilitate effective communication and ensure alignment between TRM and CTR cross functional teams

  • Collaborate with teams within TRM including sales, measurement, media planning, and product team as necessary

  • Develop marketing opportunities that align with both TRM’s and the business units’ strategy and objectives

  • Create marketing offerings for TRM to add to the marketing solutions package and programs to be sold to vendor

  • Create compelling marketing materials, including PowerPoint presentations to showcase TRM products and marketing solutions

  • Collaborate with the media planning team to develop turnkey Marketing Playbooks

  • Manage the integrated marketing calendar cross stakeholders and teams

  • Develop compelling advertising product narratives for vendor and internal facing presentations based on data and storytelling to persuade marketers, ad agencies, and internal stakeholders to adopt TRM marketing solutions

  • Provide insights, data, industry research, and sales reports to assist with the annual account planning process

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to review performance of marketing campaigns and evolve the product offering as needed

  • Establish a disciplined approach for internal communication between TRM and the business units in CTR to drive collaboration and partnership

What You Bring

  • Post secondary education in marketing, business, advertising, or a related discipline

  • 6+ years of experience in a brand development role in marketing, ecommerce, digital marketing, advertising at an agency

  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to manage unique projects with a positive and problem-solving mindset

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities

  • Self starter with strong initiative, attention to detail, and an ability to self prioritize tasks and adapt as required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong collaborator, effective at building positive business relationships

  • Driven to achieve targets and deadlines

  • Resourceful in navigating through a large company and across several stakeholder groups in a nimble and fast paced environment

  • Experience building compelling PowerPoint presentations

  • Proficiency in working with excel files
