Job Overview:

As an Account Manager for Telus Health Provider Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our next generation Electronic Medical Records (EMR) portfolio and user base. This will be an outbound sales position focused on consultative selling within a targeted territory. You will bring your extensive experience in working with clinicians and healthcare executive teams to drive the adoption of our industry-leading EMR solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Revenue generation: The cornerstone of your role as a sales account manager. Your focus will be on net new revenue across a defined territory supporting our growth and leadership in the digital health landscape.
  • Drive Innovation: Leverage your tech-savvy mindset to enhance physician and patient interaction, improving clinical workflows and patient outcomes
  • Engage and Influence: Conduct compelling group and one-on-one presentations to showcase the power of our solutions, captivating healthcare professionals and decision-makers
  • Lead the Way: Take ownership of a wide variety of projects and lead the request for proposal (RFP) process in your territory, demonstrating your expertise in opportunity assessment, scoping, and RFP response development
  • Collaborate and Thrive: Thrive in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop and execute account plans for key prospects and designated accounts, fostering long-term partnerships and driving customer satisfaction
  • Be an Ambassador: Act as a strong ambassador for the TELUS organization, upholding our values and behaviors, both within the business and the extended community
  • Unleash Your Potential: Unleash your networking prowess by attending trade shows, conferences, and public speaking engagements to develop prospects and expand your professional network

Qualifications

  • Proven Sales Success: 3 to 5 years of successful sales experience in the healthcare industry in Canada, with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives
  • Healthcare Expertise: University degree and or demonstrated experience in regular dealings with physicians and clinical providers, demonstrating your deep understanding of the healthcare landscape
  • Compelling Communicator: Excellent presentation and writing skills, enabling you to effectively convey complex concepts and solutions to diverse audiences.
  • Tech Enthusiast: Tech-savvy with a passion for leveraging technology to drive innovation in healthcare. Experience in selling SaaS within the healthcare industry is considered an asset
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop account plans for key prospects and designated accounts, showcasing your strategic thinking and ability to drive business growth
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, ensuring long-standing business relationships and making TELUS 100% referenceable
  • Relationship Builder: Recognized for your ability to build trust and loyalty, resulting in solid relationships with key decision-makers and strategic alliances
