Are you thinking about advancing your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Mississauga office is looking for a new National Nacora Marine Sales Manager to join our Insurance Brokers team.

Your Role

You'll report directly to the CEO & Managing Director of Canada (Tor NN), manage direct reports, and be highly motivated and detail oriented, whilst maintaining a strong business development/sales focus and strategic mindset to grow Nacora Canada.

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing and leading the Marine department for positive growth year over year.
  • Ensure regular meetings with team as per company guidelines.
  • Management of systems and regular reporting to Management.
  • Collaborate directly with Kuehne + Nagel Canada's leadership for growth strategy meetings and development of the Marine Cargo Program.
  • Monitor incoming Credit Applications and ensure clients who have consented to receive information on Marine Cargo are contacted accordingly.
  • Ensure and confirm Insurance is being booked in Kuehne + Nagel systems after being sold to Clients whilst maintaining an efficient process workflow and provide solutions for continued excellence.
  • Marine Cargo - Document process and workflow for each division - SF/AF/OV.
  • Work with all of Kuehne + Nagel's sales channels to ensure proper usage of My Nacora Quote online quoting Tool.
  • Monitor the number of quotes per week/month/year by sales channels and conduct follow up meetings.
  • Engage Kuehne + Nagel's sales channels by offering frequent presentations and refreshers on Marine Cargo insurance.
  • Assist in reconciliation of commissions monthly and reporting.
  • Other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the company.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Freight forwarding/transportation/logistics/supply chain industry experience
  • Experience in business development, sales and account management
  • Experience in project management and leadership experience (managing direct reports)
  • Insurance/Marine Insurance experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365
  • Bachelor's degree
