Parts Receiver Associate - White Oaks Collision Centre

White Oaks Collision Centre is looking for a Parts Receiver Associate to join our growing team!

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Check and review incoming orders.
• Count and examine items in incoming shipments to verify information against invoices, estimates, orders, and other internal records.
• Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to resolve shortage.
• Prepare returns and tracking of credits.
• Ensure all parts are stored in the proper place.
• Attend to the overflow shuttle of customers
• Maintain and review the receiving and shipping records.
  
• Maintain an accurate inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Follow company safety policies and practices, and immediately, report any and all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
• This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Excellent interpersonal and communicational skills.
• Working knowledge of automotive equipment, parts and accessories.
• Current knowledge of local sources of supply.
• Knowledge of techniques for receiving, storing, and issuing parts and supplies.
• Well organized and detail oriented, with ability to maintain records and prepare reports using a computerized system.
• Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
• Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
• Good computer skills (ideally Reynolds & Reynolds or ADP).
• Ability to self-direct and complete assignments on time with minimal supervision.
• A valid Ontario Driver's License with a good driving record.
