We're looking for a customer-focused professional to join our Metro Region sales team at Dufferin Concrete. In this role, you'll act as a bridge between our customers and the company—reaching out to current and prospective clients, creating sales proposals, and maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts. You'll also embody and demonstrate CRH Canada's cultural values in every interaction. This position reports to the East District Sales Manager. MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and develop relationships with existing accounts within the assigned territory to ensure appropriate contacts are made, products are suggested, and viable leads are followed up on. This is supported through the use of the CRM - Salesforce.com
• Seek new accounts in the assigned territory to expand product use and improve business growth.
• Collect market intelligence and maintain an understanding of total market volumes, trends, and key economic drivers for the assigned territory.
• Provide front-line technical input to accounts and other stakeholders within the assigned territory
• Address and resolve customer service inquiries, requests, and complaints, involving quality, technical services, or other departments as required
• Develop annual business plans for the assigned territory and accounts, including pricing, objectives, technical support, distribution optimization, new products, and receivables management
• Assist with the collections process as needed and within company policy
• Establish a positive jobsite presence in support of OH&S compliance, Product Quality and Delivery Effectiveness
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post-secodnary degreee or diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution in Marketing, Engineering, Construction or similar discipline
• 5+ years of relevant expereince within a similar role.
• Local travel required to visit accounts and jobsites.
• Must posses a valid Class G License
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Qlikview, Salesforce.com, SAP and CMD an asset
• Other: May require physical handling of product samples and ability to perform standard product testing
