P&H Milling
P&H is the largest Canadian-owned milling company. The P&H Milling Group sources wheat from Western Canada, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada to produce quality flour and cereal products. The lineup includes hard red spring wheat flour for breads and other bakery products, soft winter wheat flour for cakes and cookies, as well as semolina flour for pasta, organic flour, and atta flour for chappati. In our specialty milling operation in Saskatoon, we also mill pea fractions.
From its mills in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Acton, Hanover, Hamilton, and Cambridge, Ontario; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and Lethbridge, Alberta, the P&H Milling Group supplies flour to customers throughout Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Iceland, and Pacific Rim countries.
Your Role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Sales Administrator will play a key role in supporting the National Sales team, contributing to the development and strengthening of a strong, unified national presence for our customers.
Day to Day
Assist in managing the National Pricing Workbook and Daily Pricing files, ensuring customer updates are accurate.
Maintain Cost Components and train staff on pricing files and reporting systems.
Monitor wheat commodity markets and support Sales and Procurement teams in managing customer contracts.
Build customer relationships, support the Sales team, and collaborate with departments to meet customer needs.
Assist with millfeed bookings and analyze sales data for process improvements.
Maintain organized filing systems, manage customer databases, and use Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and reporting.
Provide backup support to the Sales Administration Manager and manage procurement of promotional materials.
Required Qualifications
Post-Secondary education in business, administration or related area or equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment and meet deadlines
Candidate must be analytical, have problem-solving ability, be well organized and have attention to detail
Strong mathematical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook)
Commodity understanding and trading experience is an asset
