Organization Overview:

For the past three years, Seeds of Leadership has nurtured youth leadership potential through training, mentorship, and community projects. Our mission is to cultivate young talents aged 14-21, empowering them to drive positive change. We've supported over 100 projects, impacting more than 10,000 lives across Canada.

Job Purpose:

The Youth Leadership Engagement Lead will design, implement, and manage initiatives that empower youth as leaders and community contributors. You will create a supportive environment for youth to grow, manage immersive learning experiences, and build partnerships that expand program impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Development & Implementation:

  • Design and implement youth leadership and community engagement programs aligned with Seeds of Leadership's mission.

  • Develop interactive workshops and learning modules focused on leadership, teamwork, and community service.

  • Plan and oversee immersive learning experiences such as retreats, summits, and coaching circles.

Youth Engagement, Outreach & Representation:

  • Engage with youth, particularly underserved groups, to build trust and foster participation in leadership initiatives.

  • Establish partnerships with schools, community groups, and organizations to expand program reach.

  • Represent Seeds of Leadership at youth forums and community events, promoting youth empowerment and leadership opportunities.

Youth Development & Scouting:

  • Provide monthly mentorship to youth, ensuring timely project reports and linking them with resources for personal and project growth.

  • Proactively scout youth with leadership potential through partnerships and events.

Volunteer Coordination:

  • Recruit, train, and support volunteers for youth development projects, ensuring strong engagement and relationships.

Grants & Fundraising:

  • Identify and apply for grant opportunities and sponsorships to support leadership programs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, education, community development, youth leadership); Master's degree is an asset..

  • 3-5 years of experience in youth development, leadership training, or community engagement.

  • Proven ability to design and deliver youth programs with measurable outcomes.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Empathetic leader who can inspire youth from diverse backgrounds.

  • Comfortable stepping outside the comfort zone in a dynamic environment.

  • Innovative and adaptable, with flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends.

Starting Salary:
