The Account Manager is responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts on products or services in our Maritime region. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.

This position is part of the USCAN commercial business located in Eastern Canada (Prince Edward Island or Nova Scotia) and will be fully remote from a home-based environment. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you'll do:

  • Design and execute account specific business plans including customer goals, strategic initiatives, opportunity development, relationship mapping, and competitive threats.

  • Lead account team through sales cycle from opportunity discovery through deal closure.

  • Build strong business relationships with customers by earning deep trust and loyalty, driving alignment of their outcomes with Cytiva solutions resulting in mutually beneficial growth.

  • Achieve annual and quarterly sales goals.

  • Prepare proposals and quotations, initiate and plan customer visits at all levels of the account, and work with product specialists in demonstrating the breadth and range of Cytiva's capabilities.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years experience in a Biotechnology, BioProcessing or Life Sciences industry in a Customer Facing Role.

  • Post secondary education is required, STEM discipline is preferred.

  • Must have exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills to drive collaboration, influence and VOC (voice of customer) at all levels.

  • Proficient with CRM tools (i.e. Salesforce) to build sales funnel, accurately forecast, and capture business critical information.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Maritimes Canada location ( Prince Edward Island or Nova Scotia) with ability to travel <30% as required.

  • Must have valid driver's license.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Existing knowledge of our products and services offered and/or familiarity with Cytiva's territory accounts is a plus.

The base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000 CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, health insurance and retirement benefits to eligible employees.
