Marketing Manager, Retail
Cavendish Farms has established an indelible role in the Canadian frozen potato category having grown and expanded the category exponentially over the last several years. We're seeking a Marketing Manager, Retail to continue that tradition of excellence, and drive towards our growth goals both domestically and internationally. As the successful candidate, you will develop and execute marketing plans for the Cavendish Farms brand and oversee the execution of packaging, sponsorship and shopper initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Sponsorships Lead - Lead the strategy development of all corporate and brand sponsorships and develop and execute sponsorship activities, monitoring and reporting on results.
- Portfolio Management - assist in planogram planning, prepare customer and internal presentations, review and report sales data, etc.
- Product Marketing Plan Execution - contribute to development and execution of product marketing initiatives (i.e. creative briefs, digital assets creation, photography and video production) in collaboration with Director, Product Development
- Shopper Marketing Execution - contribute and collaborate with Director, Product Development on shopper marketing strategy plans and lead programs execution.
- Packaging: Lead and support packaging design development for innovation and renovation projects working with key stakeholders. Collaborate with Innovation Manager on new product innovation and renovation projects.
- Sales Support - Lead development of sales and customer marketing elements (i.e. flyers, sell sheets, presentations, etc.).
Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration - major in Marketing preferred
- 5+ years of experience in brand management and/or product development
- Quantitative, business analysis & project management skills
- Creative & strategic thinking/planning skills
- Problem solving, negotiating and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Advanced skills with PowerPoint, Excel & Word
