We are seeking to identify highly motivated and qualified individuals for opportunities as a Pre-Sales Engineer ("Technical Account Manager") within our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet the clients business objectives
  • Collaborate with services team in the delivery of technology solutions to meet the clients business objectives
  • Collaborate and support sales team opportunities
  • Collaborate with account managers, presales, and management teams to build out a go-to-market strategy, deliver value proposition, and increase sales within target accounts
  • Identify, recommend, and develop sales strategies and process efficiencies, as required
  • Support the account management team in sales presentations that highlight key benefits, ROI, and value of the company's IT products and services
  • Research and evaluate new hardware and software technology and help make decisions on the cost-benefit analysis of new purchases
  • Attend sales and technology training as required
  • Create and maintains effective customer relationships to secure customer satisfaction

Skills & Qualifications

  • Preferably at least 5 years of experience in a presales / solution architecture role
  • Demonstrate solid technical skills in the area of data center infrastructure such as server, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
  • Maintains knowledge of current trends, vendor products, and strategies within area of specialization
  • Demonstrate solid communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Knowledge-based and experienced-based industry certifications preferred
  • Self-motivated, strong analytical skills, and detail oriented

Location: This role is remote, but finalist must be based in Western Canada
