We're looking for a Sales and Inventory Coordinator to join our head office located in Vernon, British Columbia. Our head office houses Tolko's corporate services groups including Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Finance, Accounting & Credit, IT, Procurement and Human Resources.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years post-secondary education in Business/Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced team environment while providing superior service to internal and external customers.
  • A good understanding of general accounting.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • Working knowledge of Dynamics AX, and JD Edwards is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of the forest industry, sales environment, and familiarity with inventory management is a definite asset.

In this role you will:

  • Provide timely accurate reflection of sales activity and order invoicing.
  • Process all assigned sales program transactions, processing payments, making inventory adjustments, shipping, receiving and maintaining inventory controls.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal and external customers throughout the day to help maintain an efficient flow to day-to-day business.
  • Investigate inventory outages and other issues that may arise.
  • Provide non-sales support to suppliers and external customers, along with general administrative and customer service support to the Traders and Manager within the Brokerage Department.
