TELUS Small & Medium Business Solutions (SMB) is a dedicated business-to-business sales channel serving customers in the B2B space. The Channel Manager-Sales is an integral part of the SMB team supporting our Fibre access and sales team.

In our highly dynamic, fast-paced B2B environment, you will build and maintain relationships with developers and internal TELUS stakeholders. As the Channel Manager, you will present and negotiate marketing partnerships and support developers throughout the build life cycle focusing on providing an optimal customer experience. You have a deep passion for customers, people, sales, and success. This success is all about supporting developers through the project life-cycle and the partnerships you create.

As a Channel Manager - Sales, you'll:

  • Support developers, operations, and processes for the high-performing sales team and technicians to ensure they are capable of exceeding the goals, objectives, and financial targets defined in the annual operating budget.
  • Develop and implement the strategy for growing TELUS' integrated business within the business market.
  • Collaborate with and consolidate feedback for the Business Marketing team to drive efficiencies.


As the Expert in your field, you'll:

  • Build and maintain relationships with commercial developers
  • Draft and negotiate marketing partnership agreements
  • Forecast projects, address roadblocks, and provide utility line support
  • Support end to end operations and process for sales and dedicated technicians
  • Support end customer related issues
  • Engagement with leasing agents and developers to acquire tenant lists
  • Gather and provide project information for TELUS stakeholders
  • Forecast projects, address roadblocks, and provide utility line support. Support end toend operations
  • Provide accurate, relevant, and timely management information on performance metricsto facilitate effective business planning, forecasting, and resource allocation
  • Engage necessary resources from within the extended team and internal stakeholdercommunity to fully support the needs of the business
  • Act as a strong ambassador for the TELUS organization
  • Uphold the values and behaviors of a senior leader within the business and theextended community
  • Support and coordinate with TELUS stakeholders
  • Report and track opportunities for yourself and management
  • Manage expenses.
  • Ensure the optimal use of resources

Qualifications

Required Knowledge

  • Minimum of 5 years sales and/or marketing experience
  • 2-3 years of sales leadership experience
  • Real estate or commercial development experiences are an asset
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is preferred
  • Proven ability to lead teams, excellent communication (written and oral), facilitate and deliver presentations
  • Strong knowledge of Business to Business sales environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to work and thrive in a high energy, fast-paced, action-oriented, deadline-driven environment
  • Outstanding communicator able to effectively articulate the vision, goals, and strategic imperatives of the business and act as an enabler for feedback
  • Strong and effective decision maker able to review options in a constructive and methodical manner to establish the best course of action for the organization
  • Detailed understanding of the sales process and a proven track record of achieving sustainable, profitable business results
  • Proven track record of consistent and sustainable performance, exceeding challenging financial targets
  • Experience using JIRA and Salesforce

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

  • Bachelor of Commerce or Business Administration or equivalent sales and industry experience
