POSITION SUMMARY:

The Partnership Marketing ("PM") team is a major driver of revenue and creator of future revenue visibility for Canucks Sports & Entertainment ("CSE"). The PM team is tasked with delivering industry-leading value to partners and protecting and growing CSE's partnership revenue. The Account Coordinator will do this by building incredible relationships, aligning with our partners business needs, and delivering contractual and new value.

CSE REVENUE TEAM MINDSET: As part of the aligned goals of the CSE Revenue team, a core strategy mindset is embodied by the leader of the PM Team: Creating Value, Be Curious, Always On, Dedication to Excellence, Creative Storytelling, and Relationship Building.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Other duties may be assigned as required)

Analyzing Partners

  • Understanding of CSE revenue goals and helps develop paths to reach targets
  • Understands the specific business of each of their partners and identifies ways to deliver on objectives

Customized & Innovative Approach

  • Fosters a creative environment that inspires new ideas, programs, and activations; with a key understanding of how to effectively curate them to our partners
  • Is a creative catalyst for the development of customized approaches and solutions
  • Actively monitors all elements of the sports, entertainment, leisure and service industries for inspiration from best practices that can be utilized in our business

Deliverables & Execution

  • Member of the PM team with a value-ad approach to deliver best-in-class partnerships
  • Assists in overseeing partner executions across partners throughout all CSE teams properties (Vancouver Canucks, Abbotsford Canucks, Warriors and Surge)
  • Actively tracks value delivery throughout partnership terms and ensures that we have delivered all contractual benefits and more
  • Maintains a strong presence at Canucks and Warriors home games, and travels as necessary for relationship building and value delivery, etc.

Relationship Management

  • Dedicated to building and nurturing relationships with current and new CSE partners
  • Establishes clear and open lines of communication with partners and key stakeholders
  • Prioritizes face-to-face opportunities with our partners
  • Maintains a solution-oriented approach to problem solving and managing feedback

Growth & Renewal

  • Strategizes for business and relationship growth by working with Sr. Manager/Manager and Director
  • Develops ways to create new value for our current partners, renew and extend those relationships early, and grow investment from our current partners
  • Capitalizes on opportunities to upsell and understands how to convert them successfully

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business administration or marketing
  • Experience in sponsorship activation, promotions, ticket sales, and marketing, preferably in professional sports or an advertising agency environment
  • Excellent people and communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients at all levels within an organization
  • Highly organized with disciplined approach to managing multiple projects and administrative tasks
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Dynamic and hardworking team player who can confidently work with minimal supervision
  • Commitment to ensuring superior customer service
  • Strong computer proficiency, including MS Word and Excel
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required
  • Working knowledge of desktop publishing software would be an asset
