ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Responsible for all company recruitment in conjunction with managers, taking a proactive approach to recruiting and maintaining a database of potential candidates for future opportunities
  • Provide expertise, coaching, and support to all Employee Relations and Investigation matters.
  • Liaise and communicate effective with key management, executive personnel, and provide guidance to managers, team leads, and HR team on people functions.
  • Oversee Internal Corporate Communications initiatives that encourages two-way communication between the organization and staff.
  • Lead the planning, execution and evaluation of HR programs and initiatives such as performance management, talent development and training, recruitment, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure the company is in compliance with all employment-related legislation requirements.
  • Identify, review, develop and manage the use of OpenRoad Human Resources Management System to meet OpenRoad need from time to time
  • Research, propose and manage salary, benefit and all other perks of OpenRoad Associates
  • Identify, develop and implement training opportunities for the organization
  • Propose and control Department budget to ensure optimum result of Human Resources Department function
  • Identify, Create and make any necessary adjustment to OpenRoad HR policies
  • This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or University diploma in business administration or human resource management.
  • 5-7 years related experience in a human resource management. Previous management/leadership experience in human resources preferred.
  • CHRP designation an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of current employment standards act, human rights legislation, and related employment laws.
  • Track record of success in workforce planning, training, recruitment, and in establishing policies and procedures.
  • Able to stay innovative and up-to-date on HR technology, AI, and best practices to promote growth and change.
  • Must possess professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate, inspire confidence, produce quality work within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
  • Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to accurately diagnose organizational needs, possesses the political awareness to gain support through the development of a clear strategy and goals, and the ability to produce results.
