Key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Responds to a wide variety of client requests and inquiries using the "Four Pillars" approach - Banking, Investments, Credit and Insurance.
  • Understands and advises clients on the purchase of registered and non-registered investment products (including Mutual Funds). Completes and processes all related documentation utilizing advisory tools and ensuring compliance to regulations. Refers more complex needs to Financial Advisor as required.
  • Understands and advises clients on the purchase of personal lending products and services including mortgages, personal loans, lines of credit, MasterCard applications and associated insurance products. Makes appropriate credit recommendations to Manager.
  • Calls unassigned clients during campaigns and as directed by Manager. Negotiates pricing and processes renewals within established pricing grid.
  • Processes estate accounts compiling the necessary documentation. Completes required transactions and refers more complex requests as needed.

Education and Experience

  • 2 years' experience in the financial services industry.
  • Mutual Funds license and experience is an asset.
  • Solid understanding of retail lending (including mortgages) and investment products.
  • Intermediate financial planning courses preferred.

Pay Transparency

This role is on a salary step program that provides timely recognition of skill development at important intervals. Salaries on this program are reviewed quarterly to reflect progress made. The range for this role is $61,800 - $67,600/year, plus variable reward bonus.
