Job Summary:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Client Account Manager at our Calgary, AB location. The Client Account Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with existing clients, as well as identifying new business opportunities and maximizing revenue. The Client Account Manager will work with cross-functional teams to deliver great customer experiences and high-quality services.

Job Duties:

Client Relations

  • Build up a long-term relationship of trust with the client and learn about their operations.
  • Addressing any concerns, a client may have and working with leadership to resolve them.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issues escalations as needed.
  • Track key client operational KPIs per SOW
  • Draw up action plans in coordination with the operations team to execute them.

Project Management

  • Establish project plans, tasks, resources, and ownership to ensure timelines are met.
  • Manage internal and external projects which may extend to suppliers and clients.
  • Proactively work to remove project obstacles, identify, and manage issue escalations, and provide support to teams balancing competing priorities.
  • Manage Continuous Improvement initiatives in Collaboration with Engineering and Ops
  • Review and optimize Warehousing Processes.

Reporting

  • Interpret, monitor, and analyze data and metrics to create various reports and queries.
  • Creates KPI's dashboards to measure effectiveness and success of our deliverables.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

Financial

  • Ability to understand, interpret and create cost modelling and yearly budgets.
  • Negotiate contract renewals and pricing strategy in collaboration with other stakeholders.

Job Qualifications/Requirements

  • Master's degree in business, Operations, Logistics, or related field
  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, customer experience
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to analyze data and develop strategic plans.
  • Experience in logistics, warehousing or supply chain management is preferred.

REQURIED COMPETENCIES

Computer Skills

  • Expert in MS Excel, VBA and Marcos
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of PowerBI, PowerAPPS, and SQL is considered an asset.

Communication Skills

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, project manager or customer support
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Advanced customer service skills to remain personable with client to build relationships and establish yourself as a reliable source for the client to turn to with any questions or concerns.
  • Team building and collaboration abilities when working with other departments to develop strategies that benefit client.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Up to 10% domestic travel may be required for this role. This role will be based in an office environment.
