Xplore is seeking a Dealer Sales Manager (DSM) in Western Canada, to lead efforts of our community-based customer acquisition channel in areas of Fibre, Fixed Wireless and Satellite Internet coverage. Reporting to the Sr Manager, Dealer Sales, the DSM role will support the Dealer channel in 2 ways: 1) Relationship development and management with existing and new Dealer partners. 2) Provision of tactical level sales support (ie: uncovering and funding selling opportunities, providing reporting, more).
As part of day-to-day, the DSM will be responsible for Dealer segment sales, install, gross add and quality targets in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.

• Achieve weekly, monthly and quarterly sales, install, gross adds and quality targets
• Strengthen and grow regional selling Dealer relationships while ensuring adequate dealer coverage to optimize sales performance
o Existing Dealer partners: Build strong relationships with key contacts, provide selling guidance, resources, reporting and support; grow and purge partnerships as necessary
o New Dealer partners: Research, negotiate with and implement in areas of selling opportunity
• Provide selling Dealer support: Manage monitor and communicate regional sales, churn, capacity and penetration data via weekly and monthly bottom-up-builds; implement and support tactical selling opportunities (eg: retail events and tradeshows), provide internal partner support to key Dealer contacts (eg: social media training, online ad templates), manage assigned Market Development Fund (MDF), more
• Develop community level relationships with key contacts in areas of high selling opportunity (ie: Town Councils, Mayors, Influencers, Local partners, etc)
• Work in field, minimum 2 days / week across all regions; attend selling events
• Special projects as requested (eg: Research, seasonal programs, etc)
• College or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years working in working in telecommunications sales, marketing and/or operations
• 3+ years working in a District Sales or Account Management capacity, with external vendors or Dealers
• Exceptional relationship building, sales and sales management skills
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Process, budget and results management
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while reaching tight deadlines and managing multiple projects
• Ability to source and develop new ideas and solutions for legacy challenges
• Use of CRM tools (Salesforce.com) and Microsoft Office
• Ability to travel regionally, as required.
